The middle tier was a red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling and then iced in buttercream and the bottom tier was a white cake that had a lemon glaze brushed on top and then filled with raspberry and buttercream icing. This was a CRAZY heavy cake!!!

Lawerence-Hill Wedding
Although this cake had many hiccups along the way I was pleased with the end result. This was the first time that I had attempted this style of decorating....it was definitely a learning process, this isn't as easy as it looks!
A shot BEFORE the flowers were added. Just goes to show that flowers make a WORLD of difference to the final look of the cake.
The top tier was a German Chocolate cake INSIDE OUT, meaning that the filling was the coconut/nut topping that is typically on the top of a German chocolate cake and it was iced in a chocolate buttercream icing. This was the groom's favorite cake and the one that they would be cutting for pictures.

Jennylynn! This cake is FANTASTIC!! You are the most talented woman I know! Your cakes are not only amazing they taste better than any "typical" cake you'd order from a professional! Lots of Love!
