'Sweet 18'!

For this birthday cake, the birthday girl requested it be done in her favorite colors: bright yellow, bright orange and bright pink. She also wanted her favorite flowers incorporated into it, which are Gerber daisies. I had a lot of fun creating this cake. I was able to use my new Christmas present on it.... an airbrush machine! I love how vivid it allows the colors to be! This picture just doesn't do the colors justice.The cake was Chocolate cake with a cookies and cream buttercream filling and then covered in a chocolate buttercream frosting.

It is hard to tell, but the cake was dusted with 'disco dust'. The perfect finishing touches on a 'girly girl' cake.
